On the afternoon of January 27th, the 2026 Baihe Town Chamber of Commerce New Year’s Gala was held under the theme of “Gathering Momentum, Empowering the Future of Business.” The event aimed to review the solid progress made in 2025 through government-enterprise collaboration and collective development, to discuss new pathways for high-quality regional development in 2026, to consolidate the powerful force of the private economy, and to write a new chapter of cooperation and mutual benefit. Government and business elites gathered at the gala, and Andy, General Manager of MEOKON and Vice President of the Baihe Town Chamber of Commerce, was invited to attend.
The grand ceremony included a prestigious awards presentation. Yu Feng, Secretary of the Baihe Town Party Committee; Xu Xuejun, Deputy Secretary of the Baihe Town Party Committee and Town Mayor; Cai Shuangqi, Chairman of the Baihe Town People’s Congress; and Wu Wenjuan, Deputy Secretary of the Baihe Town Party Committee, presented awards to the winning companies. MEOKON, with its outstanding achievements in investment attraction and tax revenue, public welfare, and technological innovation, successfully won three awards: the “Happy Baihe – Outstanding Contribution” Award, the “Happy Baihe – Shining Star” Award, and the “Happy Baihe – Technological Innovation” Award. These three awards not only represent high recognition of MEOKON’s development achievements over the past year but also fully affirm MEOKON’s contributions to regional economic development, social responsibility, and technological innovation.
With the in-depth advancement of the Yangtze River Delta innovation hub construction across the region, the expansion and enhancement of the Hongqiao International Open Hub, the clear goal of making Qingpu New City the “first stop for Yangtze River Delta enterprises entering and exiting Shanghai,” and the continuous amplification of the spillover effects of the China International Import Expo, 2026 will be a crucial year for Baihe Town to seize opportunities and capitalize on the momentum.
